A ruffle is easy to overdo. The Axelle uses one — a single narrow frill following the cup line and the brief edge, in the same shade as the body, so it reads as a finish rather than a decoration.
The fabric is a brushed jersey with a faint hand, warm without weight, and the whole set is cut close enough to layer under a shirt. It is the piece we recommend to people who like the idea of the plush pieces but not the faces on them.
