Satin is cool and slippery and entirely wrong in February. The Priscille is double-gauze cotton — two fine layers woven together and then washed, which is what gives it the crinkled hand and the softness that improves rather than degrades.
Scattered coloured dots on cream, piped in blue. It is the least glamorous thing we sell and quite possibly the most worn.
